The Philip Harris sFX-51 stereo microscope is a simple instrument that will allow the student to be completely in control and have fun investigating the microscopic world. A highly reliable instrument with solid construction. Internal NiMH rechargeable battery. Up to 8 hours use from a single charge. LED medium intensity. The sFX-51 also has a handle for ease of transportation and a touch controlled adjustable incident and transmitted illumination. The time required for a full recharge is approximately 8 hours.
Stereo Microscopes are more suited to examining solid objects, such as rock and fossil samples as opposed to prepared microscope slides.
