The Philip Harris M-100FX Monocular LED microscope is a good, economically priced educational microscope suitable for all manners of microscope work from basic use at Key stage 3 to Key stage 4. The microscope has a WF10X/18mm eyepiece, which can be removed to allow the insertion of an eyepiece camera or eyepiece micrometer when necessary, and is capable of magnification of up to 400x. It also has an LED illuminator, consisting of a 1W LED. A robust microscope with interchangeable eye pieces ideal for the majority of school biological applications.
