A variety of materials in the form of rectangular blocks, intended to familiarise the student with the appearance, 'feel', texture, hardness and density of a range of common substances.
Kit contains blocks of materials in the following sizes:
- softwood, Hardwood, Paraffin Wax, Aluminium, Iron, Foamed Polystyrene: 50mm x 40mm x 30mm
- Perspex, Glass, slate, Aluminium, softwood, Marble: 20mm x 20mm x 100mm
- Lead: 50mm x 50mm x 20mm
- Aluminium: 50mm x 50mm x 80mm
- Hardwood: 50mm x 50mm x 200mm
- Brass: 20mm x 20mm x 50mm
- Iron: 40mm x 40mm x 20mm.
